The presentation will feature five short films with commentary and background. Films shown include three from 1938 featuring the work of the New Deal projects that helped make Sewickley the beautiful village it still is today. The documentation of Sewickley beautification continues with "Sewickley Village 1968" which preserves the work of the Garden Council and Sewíckley residents in helping the village reach its full aesthetic potential. And finally, a never before seen 1928 Firefighters' Parade, recently discovered by the Cochran Hose Fire Department and lovingly restored to be viewed and enjoyed by today's audience. Together the five films will provide attendees with a fantastic time frame to compare and contrast the changes Sewickley saw throughout the 20th century.
