In "Gilded Twilight in Four Acts: The Relationship between Andrew Carnegie and Henry Clay Frick," Ron Schuler, lawyer and author of THE STEEL BÅR: PITTSBURGH LAWYERS AND THE MAKING OF AMERICA (Marquez Press, 2019) examines the tempestuous partnership between two titans of the Gildéd Age through the eyes of their Pittsburgh lawyers and in the context of four major events in American history: the Johnstown Flood of 1889, the Homestead Strike of 1892, the "World's Greatest Lawsuit", and the creation of U.S. Steel in 1901.
