Emma Bianco, a senior at Bethel Park High School, is the recipient of the $1,000 Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) Scholarship. Bianco, co-president of her DECA chapter, has excelled in leadership roles and competitions throughout high school, fueling her passion for a future career in speech pathology. Her achievements include first place in Retail Merchandising at the district level and qualifying for national competition as a sophomore.

Four Bethel Park High School students were named Top of the Shop winners at the Steel Center for Career and Technology Education for the first semester of the 2024-25 school year. Honorees include seniors Adam Lackey, Matthew Yee, and Violet Puskar, along with junior Casimir Spano. The award recognizes outstanding conduct, work ethic, attendance and coursework proficiency.
Bethel Park High School senior Lyla Walsh has achieved recognition for academic excellence from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation as a 2025 NMS finalist. Lyla is part of an esteemed group among her peers nationwide, with only 15,000 NMS finalists eligible for competition among 6,870 scholarships totaling over $26 million. This honor places Lyla in the top one percent of U.S. high school seniors.
Allen Ho was recently elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.
