Linda Mae (Schroeder) Myers, 77, of Tarrs, formerly of Old Bethany, passed away at 12:46 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2023, in the Rehabilitation & Nursing Center (RNC), Hempfield Township. Linda was born May 2, 1945, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Richard C. Schroeder and Margaret T. (Gilmore) Schroeder Elliott. Linda was married to Charles A. "Chuck" Myers, who passed away April 18, 2008. Linda was employed by Montgomery Wards Warehouse in New Stanton as a porter. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of God and the American Legion Post #981, Woman's Auxiliary in South Greensburg. As Linda suffered from Parkinson's Disease, she was also part of the Parkinson's Support Group at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Greensburg. For those knowing Linda, she also had a great love for animals, especially for her dogs! In addition to her parents, husband and various in-laws, Linda was preceded in death by her stepfather, George F. Elliott; her stepmother, Wanda Schroeder; and her in-laws, Charles R. and Violet M. (King) Myers. She will be sadly missed by her loving family: her two daughters, Pamela A. (Myers) Dudeck and husband, Keith, and Sondra L. (Myers) Trout; her two sons, Charles F. Myers and wife, Lisa, and Richard C. Myers; her grandchildren, Paige A. (Echols) Svesnik and husband, Brian, Jessie L. Dudeck, Kevin W. Dudeck and fiance, Elizabeth Ellsworth, Eric C. Myers and wife, Sarah Elizabeth, Evan C. Myers and girlfriend, Bree Burke, Alexander F. Trout and wife, Brigid, Megan E. (Trout) Weimer and Austin R. Myers; her great- grandchildren, Misha R. Svesnik, Wylie J. Svesnik and Mercedes B. Trout; her companion, Ralph Chase; her in-laws, Ray and Darlene Stoner, Nancy (Myers) Shepherd, Ronald and Janett Myers; and many nieces, nephews and close friends (who know who they are without mention). Linda also leaves behind her beloved dogs, LuLu and Fluffy. Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. Allison of the Mt. Pleasant Church of God officiating. Graveside committal service and interment next to her late husband will follow at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Cemetery in Tarrs.
