Quilt show winners to be announced Saturday

Community Library of Allegheny Valley will host its 26th annual Quilt Show through Friday at the library, 1522 Broadview Blvd., Natrona Heights.

There is no cost to enter, view or vote on a quilt. The quilt with the most votes in each category will be announced at a reception set for 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Spaghetti dinner to aid Prospect Cemetery

A spaghetti dinner to benefit Prospect Cemetery will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Brackenridge American Legion, 845 First Ave.

The menu will include spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad, Italian bread & butter, dessert and beverage, Tickets are $10; 12 and younger, $5; dine in or take out.

Opportunities available to help senior citizens

Open Your Heart to a Senior is looking for volunteers to help our older neighbors.
