A Moon Township man was sentenced to 27½ years in prison for dealing drugs and money laundering crimes while on federal supervised release from a previous prison sentence for drug trafficking.

Noah Landfried, 38, was also ordered to serve 10 years of supervised release following his prison sentence.

His sentence combines 300 months for the drug and money laundering convictions and 30 months for the supervised release violation.

Landfried was convicted in December 2021 for dealing illicit drugs, which included at least 5 kilograms of cocaine, between 40 and 400 grams of fentanyl, and between 100 and 1,000 grams of heroin.

He was also convicted of conspiracy to launder drug-trafficking money, and and possession with intent to distribute at least 40 grams of fentanyl.

The incidents happened in 2017 and 2018, after Landfried was released early in 2017 from his prior federal prison sentence for international marijuana trafficking.

After his release in 2017, according to police, Landfried re-established a direct connection to a Mexican source of supply, and received tractor-trailer shipments of kilograms of cocaine that were transported across the U.S./Mexico border.

Police said Landfried supplemented his cocaine trafficking by distributing thousands of oxycodone pills and large quantities of fentanyl and heroin, along with K2 or synthetic cannabinoids that he trafficked into prisons.
