Seven new stores, a restaurant and a bank-cafe are set to open this year at Ross Park Mall, some of which are new to the region, according to Simon Property Group, the mall’s owner.
Upstairs, there will be a Capital One Café, which will offer customers “a full range of banking services” plus coffee and pastries.
Garage, a women’s denim and clothing brand, also is opening on the upper floor. It has another location at South Hills Village.
Several clothing stores are slated to open on the lower level:
• Aritzia, a popular women’s clothing store, will set up near Alo Yoga; its nearest current location is in Columbus, Ohio.
• Carhartt, specializing in apparel and accessories for the whole family, is moving in near Macy’s.
• Unsubscribed, an upscale women’s clothing store, will be close to Center Court; the Ross Park Mall location will be the store’s first in the region.
• Tecovas, which primarily sells cowboy boots and western wear, will settle in near H&M.
• State and Liberty, a vendor selling athletic-fit menswear, will be near Dick’s House of Sport.
• Allen Edmonds, offering men’s dress and casual shoes, also is setting up near Dick’s.
A new restaurant, Plaza Azteca, is opening at the mall. It marks the Mexican restaurant’s fifth location in the Pittsburgh area.
In other changes noted in the release, American Eagle is returning to its lower-level space this summer after renovations, while Rally House is moving upstairs.
Lisa Earl, the mall’s general manager, said the additions reflect the mall’s goal of offering an “elevated and unique retail environment.”
“With each new addition, we’re curating a space that blends innovation and style,” she said.
The mall’s media contact, Francesca Callahan, said the “exact timing” for when most of the new additions may open is unclear. She said the mall would offer further updates as grand openings are confirmed.
