Arrest made in fatal Sewickley Heights Christmas Eve crash
An 18-year-old was arrested Saturday in connection to a fatal, single-vehicle crash that occurred in Sewickley Heights on Dec. 24.
Luke Flowers, 18, was charged with homicide by vehicle while DUI, aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, involuntary manslaughter, and driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances, according to Allegheny County Police.
The rollover crash occurred on the evening of Christmas Eve near the 500 block of Fern Hollow Road in Sewickley Heights. Paramedics were called at approximately 10:14 p.m., and officers discovered an Audi Q5 with three occupants had left the roadway and came to rest on a hillside approximately 30 feet from the edge of the roadway.
Flowers, the driver, was uninjured, but an 18-year-old female front seat passenger and a 20-year-old female rear seat passenger were transported to area hospitals. The 20-year-old female later died in the hospital.
Police said an investigation by county Homicide Detectives and the Collision Reconstruction Unit determined Flowers was responsible for the crash.

Woman arrested for trespassing at Rivers Casino
Police said they arrested and charged a woman with trespassing Saturday after she was seen inside Rivers Casino despite a lifetime ban from the facility.
Celeste Clyde of Pittsburgh was discovered on the casino floor at 6:40 p.m. Feb. 4 and provided a false identity to investigators, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Police said Clyde, 64, provided a name, birth date and social security number of a family member.
Once her true identity was determined, a warrant was found and she was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
Clyde was charged with defiant trespass, false reports to law enforcement, and false identification to law enforcement.
