The Historic Hill District is undergoing much transition with new development coming to the neighborhood.

New homes, businesses, and expansion.

There has been a variety of reactions to the changes that are coming forth. We took the time to hear from residents.

Sally Tinsley said, "I'm happy to hear that people see how special the Hill District. I believe it's the most beautiful neighborhood in the city, but I do not wish for the redevelopment to take away the character of our dear community."

"The Hill District is the home of August Wilson and some of our greatest churches. I'm excited to hear about more housing but that's it. I don't want the neighborhood to become gentrified," Tom Winston.

"I wander if the redevelopment will involve schools? I'd love for the schools to receive more opportunities for its students," Melinda Truman.
