The academic calendar for the 2024-2025 school year was presented for board consideration at the Nov. 13 Pine-Richland school board meeting.

The academic calendar for next school year will be “relatively unchanged from the past couple of years,” board member Peter Lyons said.

One of the changes will be having election day go from a half-day off to a full day off on Nov. 5, 2024.

Major dates for the proposed academic calendar include the first day of school on Aug. 22, 2024, and graduation for seniors set for June 7, 2025.

The school board will likely vote for the academic calendar at the final school board meeting of the year, 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the DeWitt Blank Boardroom at the district administration offices.
