Car cruise to raise funds for Leechburg Public Library

Leechburg Public Library will sponsor a car cruise fundraiser, “Rally on the River” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in the borough Riverfront Park, located behind Sprankle’s Neighborhood Market on Third Street.

Ms. Freddye’s Homecookin’ Band will perform from 2 to 4 p.m. and there will be food trucks and a 50-50 raffle. Vehicle entry fee is $10.

Paula Cole to perform Sunday at Hartwood Acres

The free 2024 Allegheny County Summer Concert series will feature Paula Cole with Brooke Annibale at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheater, 4070 Middle Road, Hampton.

Bring a chair. Popup tents and umbrellas are permitted but must be taken down before the performance begins. Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash at all times and be up to date on all vaccinations and licensing.


Golf outing to benefit KA Education Foundation

The Kiski Area Education Foundation will sponsor the 16th annual Jeff McAfoose Golf Classic fundraiser Aug. 3 at Birdsfoot Golf Course, 225 Furnace Run Road, South Buffalo.

Check-in and a light lunch will be at noon and the shotgun start will be at 1:30 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m.

Cost is $125 per golfer and includes cart, lunch, refreshments and dinner. There will be a cash bar and awards. Tickets for the dinner only are $40.
