Man shot in leg in Turtle Creek

A man was shot in the leg Sunday night in Turtle Creek, according to the Allegheny County Police Department.

The man was found by officers in the 300 block of Clugston Avenue around 11:20 p.m. Sunday. He was taken to a local hospital by ambulance in “serious but stable condition,” a police report said.

Allegheny County Police detectives are investigating.

Vehicle flips in Mt. Washington

A vehicle flipped onto its roof during a crash early Monday in Mt. Washington.
 

No one was injured when a car flipped onto its roof Monday morning in Mt. Washington.

The crash happened along Norton Street around 4 a.m., according to Tribune-Review news partner WTAE.

The cause of the crash was not yet specified.


Crash leaves 1 dead in Washington County

One person died early Monday morning in a vehicle accident in Washington County.

According to Tribune-Review news partner WTAE, the crash happened just before 1:30 a.m. on Route 88 in Union Township.

The victim died after being taken to the hospital, Washington County 911 dispatchers said.

The Washington County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Sarah Beth McClintock, 37, of Monongahela.
