Gregory P. "Greg" Ferguson, 53, of Oklahoma Borough, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 30, 2023. Born Aug. 28, 1969, in Natrona Heights, he was a son of the Judith K. "Judy" Ferguson, of Oklahoma Borough, and the late James E. "Jim" Ferguson. Greg was a 1987 graduate of Kiski Area High School and worked in the shipping department at Medrad for more than 25 years. He was of the Lutheran faith. Greg was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and liked going on casino trips. He enjoyed spending time on the river at Schenley, golfing and playing poker with his buddies. In addition to his father, Jim, Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Brian K. Ferguson. In addition to his mother, Judy, Greg is survived by his brother, James E. "Jim" (Lisa) Ferguson Jr., of Spring Church; niece, Chelsea (Preston) Cooley, of Atwater, Ohio; nephew, Ryan (Jess) Ferguson, of Pittsburgh; great-niece, Casey Cooley; and numerous cousins. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, in the funeral home, with Pastor Eric Damon officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
