And yet another TV show comes to town to film. Last summer, CBS All Access announced it was going to be producing a new series called “$1,â€? which connects a group of characters — all involved in multiple murders — in a small Rust Belt town. And now CBS has announced it will film the show in Pittsburgh, PennLive reports. Per CBS: As the currency changes hands, so does the point of view of each episode, which paints a somber picture of an American town plagued by deep class and cultural divides that spill out when local secrets are revealed. While CBS has not announced a cast yet, the show was created by Jason Mosberg and Craig Zobel (“Compliance,â€? “The Leftoversâ€?) will direct and executive produce. PennLive reports filming is set to begin in the next few months. The series joins CBS All Access’ growing slate of original programming, which includes “The Good Fightâ€? and “Star Trek: Discovery.â€?
