The writer of the letter “Christians and Trump” (Feb. 27, TribLive) displayed typical Democrat judgments of Christians.
But what is a Christian?
John 3:16: No one can earn their way to heaven.
Romans 3:23: “We are all sinners and fall short of the grace of God.”
Jesus did it all for us; he died for our sins. To be part of God’s family, we must confess our sins, thank Jesus for what he did and ask him to come into our hearts. This brings salvation and the promise of heaven.
Christians voted for Donald Trump because he ran his campaign on Godly principles about family and country. Christians believe abortion is murder. Jeremiah 1:5: God said, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.”
We are a soul and then given a body. A baby in its mother’s womb has its own DNA, its own heartbeat, sex and foremost its own soul (not the woman’s body). The Bible tells us to protect the children. One of Kamala Harris’ top campaign points was abortion.
Some other reasons Christians voted for Trump: our borders, men in women’s sports, United States debt, declining health of our people and the poor standards in our education system.
Harris ran on abortion and other non-biblical stances. But more than that, to me, her campaign had no substance. When she was asked on “The View” what she would change that the Biden administration had done, her answer was, “I can’t think of anything I would change.”
Our question to the writer is, did you vote for Harris and why?
