The unfortunate remnants of success struck Robert Morris for the fourth time Thursday when 6-foot-5 junior guard Josh Omojafo announced his plans to enter the transfer portal.

Omojafo spent two seasons at Division II Gannon before enrolling at Robert Morris where he played only the recently completed season. He started 33 of the 34 games in which he appeared and averaged 11.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Omojafo shot high percentages for the Colonials during their run to Horizon League regular-season and tournament championships and the NCAA Tournament — 44.3 from the field, 38.4 from beyond the 3-point arc and 81.4 at the foul line.
He scored 12 points Friday in Robert Morris’ 90-81 loss to Alabama in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Cleveland.
Teammates Alvaro Folgueiras and Amarion Dickerson, who earned Horizon Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors, respectively, entered the portal earlier this week. Also, reserve forward Antallah Sandlin’El has decided to transfer.
