AHN Schools of Nursing accepting applications
Allegheny Health Network’s Schools of Nursing are accepting applications for full-time and part-time nursing students.
Applications are being accepted for the full-time registered nurse programs at AHN’s schools at West Penn Hospital in the Bloomfield section of Pittsburgh and Citizens School of Nursing at Pittsburgh Mills in Frazer. On-site dormitory housing is available. Deadline to apply is May 1 and classes will begin on Aug. 18.
Citizens School of Nursing also will offer a part-time registered nurse program with evening and weekend classes over a 32-month period. The site also offers free parking. The application deadline for the part-time program is Sept. 1. Classes will begin Jan. 6, 2026.

Leechburg Area HS to present ‘Once Upon a Mattress’
The Leechburg Area High School Drama Club will perform its spring musical, “Once Upon a Mattress,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the high school auditorium.
