Northern Tier Regional Library is kicking off April with its annual used book sale from April 3-7 on the lower level of the facility, 4015 Dickey Road.

“We are excited to welcome everyone in for the book sale. The book sale remains our biggest fundraiser of the year. The money the Friends of the Library raise during the sale helps to fund our amazing Summer Learning Program and other special events at the library throughout the year,” said Jessica Federkeil, Northern Tier’s public relations officer.

The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Monday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.

On the last day, there will be a $5 bag sale. During the $5 bag sale, patrons can fill a bag with as many books as they want for $5. They can bring their own bag or use one from the library.

“This year’s sale is being held in special memory of Carol Zimmerman, president of the Friends of the Library and beloved library staff member. Carol recently passed away, but her impact on the library will be lasting. She worked hard year in and year out to make the sale a success,” Federkeil said.

Zimmerman of Valencia died March 15 at 79.
