Aubree Hupp

Blackhawk

5-10, junior, forward

Hupp averaged a double-double with 21.5 points and 11.4 rebounds for WPIAL Class 4A runner-up Blackhawk (25-4). Her 332 rebounds broke a school record. She also averaged 3.1 steals, 2.3 assists and 2.1 blocks per game. Hupp scored a game-high 20 points in the WPIAL finals.

Erica Gribble

Greensburg Central Catholic

5-10, junior, guard

Gribble scored 31 points in the finals as she won her second WPIAL title in a row. A Richmond recruit, she averaged 22.4 points per game for the Centurions (22-6), who won Class 3A this year and 2A last season. She has 1,714 career points and needs 12 more to break the school record.

Rylee Kalocay

Upper St. Clair

5-9, senior, guard

Kalocay guided Upper St. Clair (23-7) to a WPIAL Class 6A title and a state runner-up finish. The WPIAL title was USC’s first since 2008. A Kent State recruit, Kalocay averaged 22 points after missing her junior season to a knee injury. Her 1,758 career points ranks second in team history.

Emma Larkin

Geibel Catholic

5-5, junior, guard

Larkin needs only 91 more to join the exclusive 2,000-point club. She led Geibel Catholic (22-6) to the WPIAL Class A semifinals while averaging 26.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 4.2 steals per game. Among WPIAL scorers, Larkin ranked second overall this winter. She has 1,909 career points.

Greta O’Brien

Avonworth

5-9, senior, guard

O’Brien graduates as Avonworth’s all-time leading scorer with 1,616 points. As a senior, she averaged 20.3 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals per game for the Antelopes (18-9), who reached the WPIAL Class 3A semifinals. She won a WPIAL title as a sophomore and was runner-up last winter.

Maggie Spell

Thomas Jefferson

5-9, junior, guard

Spell helped Thomas Jefferson reach the WPIAL Class 5A semifinals and PIAA second round in her first year with Jaguars (22-6). She averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals per game. She won a WPIAL title at Shady Side Academy as a sophomore.

Mimi Theiro

Quaker Valley

6-4, junior, forward

Theiro showed this winter why she’s highly coveted by college coaches. She averaged 23 points, 16.5 rebounds, 4 steals, 4 blocks and 3 assists per game for WPIAL quarterfinalist Quaker Valley (15-10). She already has a couple of dozen major college offers including Arkansas, where her brother Adou is a junior on the men’s team.

Karis Thomas

Shady Side Academy

5-7, junior, guard

Thomas led Shady Side Academy to the WPIAL and PIAA Class 3A championship games. She averaged 19.4 points, 4.4 assists and 2.4 steals per game for the Bulldogs (28-2). She shot 44.9% from 3-point range and scored at a 62.8% rate inside the arc. Thomas had 46 points in the two finals combined.

Iyanna Wade

Clairton

5-4, senior, guard

Wade averaged 38.8 points and led the WPIAL in scoring for the third time. She’ll graduate as the second-leading scorer in WPIAL history with 3,120 career points. She averaged 34.6 points over her four years. As a senior, she also contributed 6 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 5 steals per game for WPIAL Class A runner-up Clairton (19-6).

Natalie Wetzel

Peters Township

6-3, senior, forward

Wetzel nearly averaged a double-double while leading Peters Township to a WPIAL Class 5A title. The Miami (Fla.) recruit average 18.7 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.7 blocks per game for the state semifinalist Indians (26-4). She finished her career with 1,692 points and 806 rebounds.
