In the top of the 10th 1B Darick Hall (.241) had an RBI single, and 3B Malcom Nunez (.278) scored on a groundout by LF Matt Gorski (.275) to give Indy the win. SS Liover Peguero (.317) had three hits, including two doubles, and extended his on-base streak to 10 games. He was 3 for 5 with an RBI. Nunez, Hall and Gorski all had two hits. DH Nick Solak (.296) was 1 for 5 with an RBI and two runs scored. RHP Bubba Chandler (1.69) allowed two runs on two hits with six strikeouts in four innings of a no-decision. RHP Thomas Harrington tossed two scoreless innings of relief, allowing two hits with three strikeouts. RHP David Bednar (0.00) also threw a clean inning of relief. RHP Isaac Mattson (2-0, 2.08) earned the win after allowing one run on two hits with a walk and two strikeouts in two innings of relief.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 3-6) was crushed 13-1 by Akron (Guardians). 2B Termarr Johnson (.310) had two infield singles and a walk. LF Tres Gonzalez (.350) went 2 for 2 with a double, an RBI, a walk and was hit by a pitch. RF Sammy Siani (.133) and SS Shawn Ross (.235) each went 1 for 4. RHP Po-Yu Chen (0-1, 6.75) took the loss after allowing three runs on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 7-2) dropped a 10-4 decision to Winston-Salem (White Sox). LF P.J. Hilson (.222) was 2 for 3 and smacked two solo homers. CF Shalin Polanco (.190) also hit a solo home run. SS Javier Rivas (.333) doubled in a run. RHP Khristian Curtis (0-1) started and took the loss after giving up seven runs on three hits with four walks in 1/3 of an inning.
