Smith attended Louisiana-Monroe this past season but did not play in any games. He previously played in junior college at State Fair Community College and Pearl River Community College.
Toole also secured commitments from two Division II junior guards — Albert Vargas, who played Southern Connecticut State last season, and Cam Kearney from Clarion.
Vargas (5-10) averaged 17.5 points and 5.7 assists last season.
I remember when Albert Vargas came to our camp in the Dominican Republic at the age of 9. Today, he committed to Division 1 Robert Morris, the definition of a marathon.

Pitt makes signing official
Pitt coach Jeff Capel announced the official signing of guard Nojus Indrusaitis on Monday.
The freshman who played at Iowa State this past season will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
“Nojus is a talented guard with good size and skills,” Capel said in a statement. “His playing time was limited as a freshman last season while playing behind a veteran group of guards at Iowa State, but he has shown the ability to perform at a high level throughout his high school and international career. He has the shooting stroke, playmaking ability and basketball IQ to play either guard position.”
Indrusaitis (6-5) played in 15 games and averaged 2.1 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.3 assists.
He was a four-star recruit who was named the New Hampshire Gatorade Player of the Year in high school.
