Food distribution set Tuesday at Lernerville Speedway

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-through food distribution for anyone in need from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Lernerville Speedway, 313 N. Pike Road.

No reservations are required. Guests should remain in their vehicles and open their door or trunk and will be served on a first come, first served basis.


Tarentum Environmental Advisory Council plans cleanup day

The Tarentum Environmental Advisory Council will sponsor its annual Earth Day cleanup from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the borough.

Volunteers are needed and should meet at 10 a.m. at the Snack Shack pavilion in Riverview Memorial Park on First Avenue. Gloves, vests and garbage bags will be provided.

Lunch for volunteers will be served afterward.
