Fundraisers

• Lincoln Heights Civic Association will have bingo 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at the center, 42 Millersdale Road, Hempfield. There will be 20 regular games and five quickies. Payout is 50-50. Free coffee. Cost: 25 cents for a three-card board; $1 for quickies.

• A murder mystery dinner theater to benefit the Delmont Visionary Committee will be May 10 at the Lamplighter Restaurant, 6566 William Penn Highway, Delmont. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Cost: $55, includes buffet dinner and dessert. Vegetarian options will be available. There will be a basket raffle and 50-50. • Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education, (ABATE) will host a motorcycle movie night Thursday at the Diamond Theatre, 210 W. Main St., Ligonier. Movies will begin at 6 p.m. with a break between films. The featured movies will be, “On Any Sunday,” rated G, and “World’s Fastest Indian,” rated PG-13. • First Presbyterian Church will have a tag sale 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 2, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in Laird Hall, 3202 North Hills Road, Murrysville. Details: 724-327-0728.

• A rummage sale will be held 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 2, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 1570 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. Food will be sold. Proceeds will benefit the Blessed Bundles Outreach Ministry.

• The West Community Newton Singers will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, at West Newton United Presbyterian Church, 411 E. Main St. Cost: $8 in advance; will be $10 at the door; children, $5. Tickets: stop in at Maria’s Alterations, 128 E. Main St., West Newton.

Senior Citizen News

• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., host a speaker from the Department of Aging at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 29. Grocery bingo will be at 12:15 p.m. A sign language lass is offered at 10 a.m. each Wednesday. Reservations for events and lunch required at least one day in advance. Special Event

• The free Wills for Heroes event will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 13 by appointment at the Westmoreland Bar Association, 100 N. Maple Ave., Greensburg. Volunteer attorneys will provide in-person private consultations to first responders, military veterans and their spouses who live in Westmoreland and its surrounding counties.
