Posters of immigrant arrestees’ mugshots now line the driveway of the White House — a President Donald Trump administration move to promote its recent crackdown.
The dozens of posters appeared on Monday, showing the faces of men with the words “Illegal Alien” and alleged crimes such as “Sexual contact with child” and “Child molestation” spelled out in bold letters, USA Today reported.
Though there are no names, the White House distributed the names of 100 violent criminals who were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement recently, the outlet reported.
A White House social media account on X posted photos that included names, CBS News reported.
“Illegal immigration is not a victimless crime,” said Tom Homan, Trump’s top White House border aide, according to USA Today. “Every sick person we take off the streets, especially child rapists, makes this country safer.”
The posters arrived amid numerous courtroom challenges as the Trump administration approaches 100 days in office Tuesday.
“If you’re an illegal alien in the United States, this message is for you. You cannot hide from ICE. We are actively looking for you,” White House border czar Homan said, according to CBS News.
