Ross officials are inviting residents who remain without power from Tuesday’s deadly storm to stop by the township municipal building, 1000 Ross Municipal Drive, to use its WiFi and charge electronic devices.
As of 3:30 p.m. Friday, more than 2,300 Duquesne Light customers in the 15237 ZIP code were without power, according to the utility’s online outage map. They are among nearly 74,000 customers who remain without power in the region.
The municipal building will be open until 5 p.m. today, May 2, and then from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
A dumpster will be delivered Saturday to the municipal building for residents to dispose of spoiled food and storm debris. It will be located at the far-right corner of the property behind John Herb Field. All items must be placed inside the dumpster.
