Tickets on sale for Alle-Kiski Sports Hall of Fame dinner
Alle-Kiski Valley Sports Hall of Fame will have its 54th induction banquet at 7 p.m. May 17 at the Pittsburgh Shrine Center, 1887 Shriners Way, Harmar.
This year’s inductees are Don Frederick, Jonathan Martin, Jodie Vick McCartney, Jaime Vick, posthumously; Larry Ondako, Nick Reiser, Paul Sapotichne and Mark Schubert. The late Eddie Teorsky will receive the Courage Award. Trib Total Media will give awards to 13 individual student athletes and the state champion Burrell Hockey team.
Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased at akhof.com. Ticket deadline is Wednesday. No tickets will be sold at the door.
AHN to offer walk-in mammograms
Allegheny Health Network will host a walk-in mammogram campaign through June 25 at the AHN Outpatient Center in Waterworks Mall, 970 Freeport Road, Pittsburgh.
