The Fort Allen Farm Equipment Association’s annual Hammer-In and Plow Days continues Sunday at the association’s demonstration site near West Overton Village in East Huntingdon.

The event aims to educate visitors and give them a taste of skills, trades and history.

There is old-fashioned farm equipment on display, including plows, tractors and cultivators, as well as activities for children. The association has long supported education and awareness of traditional farming techniques.

The kitchen opens at 7 a.m. and there will be a saw mill and buzz saw demonstrations at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. along with a shingle mill demonstration and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

There will be a tractor parade at 1 p.m.

Ongoing events include blacksmith demonstrations, hit-and-miss engine displays, free kids’ activities and a variety of vendors.
