Pitt men’s basketball will host Ohio State on Nov. 28 at Petersen Events Center, the Panthers announced Tuesday afternoon.

The nonconference game completes a home-and-home between the Panthers and Buckeyes, of which Pitt won the front end on the road in overtime 91-90 on Nov. 29, 2024.

Pitt will enter the contest riding a three-game winning streak vs. the Buckeyes, with Ohio State commanding the all-time series 15-12.

This season marks Ohio State’s first trip to Petersen Events Center since 2002, when it topped the Panthers, 69-49.

Pitt (17-15, 8-12 ACC) and Ohio State (17-15, 9-11 Big Ten) posted near-identical records last season.

Returning players for the Panthers this upcoming season include forwards Papa Amadou Kante, Amdy Ndiaye and Cameron Corhen, plus guard Brandin Cummings.

Pitt also has underwent a significant (and likely ongoing) roster transformation this offseason, adding transfers in guard/forward Barry Dunning Jr. (South Alabama), guards Nojus Indrusaitis (Iowa State) and Damarco Minor (Oregon State) and center Dishon Jackson (Iowa State).
