Drive-thru food distribution set Tuesday at Pittsburgh Mills
Allegheny Valley Association of Churches and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-thru food distribution for anyone in need from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in parking lot of the former JC Penney store at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, Frazer.
Reservations are not required. Do not arrive before 4 p.m. Guests should remain in their vehicles and open their door or trunk and will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
Volunteers needed for Cheswick Strawberry Festival
The Cheswick Recreation Board is looking for people to volunteer at the June 1 Strawberry Festival.
People are needed to set up, take down, prepare strawberries and help at the strawberry and gift basket tents.
