Fundraisers
• The United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church, Greensburg, will have a rummage sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the church fellowship hall, 15 E. Second St. Proceeds will support the mission of the United Methodist Women.
• Lincoln Heights Civic Association will have bingo 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the center, 42 Millersdale Road, Hempfield. There will be 20 regular games and five quickies. Payout is 50-50. Free coffee. Cost: 25 cents for a three-card board; $1 for quickies.
• A spring bingo will be at 6 p.m. May 22 at St. Rose Church, 4969 Route 982, Derry Township. Doors open at 5 p.m. Cost: $20 in advance; $25 at the door; includes six paper cards per sheet for regular games and four specials with three cards per sheet. • A spaghetti dinner will be served 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Rehoboth Presbyterian Church, 442 Rehoboth Road, Rostraver. Cost: large dinner, $10; small, $6; includes pasta with meat sauce or marinara, salad, bread and butter, cake and a drink. Gluten-sensitive pasta and cake available by request. There will be a bake sale.
• Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 331 Weldon St., Latrobe, will host its 24th annual car hop noon to 5 p.m. June 1 in the Main and Weldon Street parking lots. Vehicle registration: by May 23, $7; after May 23 and at the gate, $10. Parking spaces cannot be saved. Proceeds will benefit the church youth ministry. • St. James Lutheran Church, 4329 Route 982, Youngstown, will host a strawberry festival 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church. Menu: ham barbecues, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, cake, strawberries, ice cream, pop, water and coffee.

History
• Historic Hanna’s Town, 809 Forbes Trail Road, Hempfield, will sponsor a free celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Hanna’s Town Resolves, a precursor to the Declaration of Independence, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be reenactments of the Resolves’ adoption, and special living history displays and demonstrations. Details: westmorelandhistory.org.
Meeting
• Golden Dome Knitting Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Trinity United Church of Christ, 139 N. Main St., Greensburg. The program will be a demonstration of a knitting machine. Recycling
• An electronics recycling event will be from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Level Green Volunteer Fire Department, 536 Route 130. Donations will be accepted. Recycled items will be transported to Westmoreland Cleanways.
Senior Citizens
• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will celebrate Chicken Dance Day with line dancing at noon Wednesday. Spring crafting with Judy will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. • Greensburg Civic Theatre will close its 73rd season with Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. May 18 at Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. Tickets: gctheatre.org or at the door if available.
