Judith (Judy) Linnert Brennan, 71, of Upper Saint Clair, passed away after a short illness on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Judy was born on October 14, 1952, to her parents Homer Oliver (H.O.) Linnert and Dolores (Klein) Linnert in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Bethel Park, where she graduated high school and met her future husband, William (Bill) Patrick Brennan. Judy went on to graduate cum laude from West Virginia University in 1974 with her bachelor's degree. She married Bill on June 12, 1976, and they had two children, Sean and Scott. She was a loving and devoted mother who crafted custom Halloween costumes and made holidays come to life. Throughout her years, Judy was a fierce champion for her sons. She was also an advocate for those in need, and she served on the board of Sisters Place for several years and regularly supported South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM). Judy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bill; her son Sean Brennan, his wife Jordana and three grandchildren Elan, Yael, and Saul Brennan; her son Scott Brennan and his wife Susanne Hansen; and her sister Nancy Dickie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and she was especially close to Lauren Dickie and Laura and Luke Brennan. She was predeceased by her parents Homer and Dolores, brother-in-law Dean Dickie, and niece Megan Dickie. Visitation will be Thursday, September 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at BEINHAUER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME at 2820 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317. Services will be held Friday, September 27, at Christ Church at 44 Highland Rd., Bethel Park, PA 15102 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private to family and close friends.
