Nicki Minaj is returning to Pittsburgh as a part of her Pink Friday 2 world tour.
The chart-topping rapper will play PPG Paints Arena on Sept. 6 on the tour’s second night.
Minaj released “Pink Friday 2,” her fifth studio album, in 2023, spawning hits like “Super Freaky Girl” and “FTCU.” Minaj, sometimes nicknamed the Queen of Rap, has delivered other big songs like “Anaconda,” “Super Bass” and “Starships.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com, with a Citi card member sale starting at 2 p.m. Wednesday, and presales through Minaj, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, Spotify and the venue beginning at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Minaj’s first — and only — Pittsburgh appearance came on Aug. 8, 2015, at First Niagara Pavilion (aka Star Lake) on her Pinkprint tour.
