Mehmet B Eker started his career and passion in cooking over 16 years ago. His love for cooking started in Brooklyn New York at an international independant cuisine restaurant and expanded from there. In 2016, Eker's opened up Pizza Marsala Monroeville. From that day, Eker orders and uses most fresh ingrendients from flour to cheese. His chefs make their sauces and dough all from scratch sharing the ingredients and preparation with the chef at each Pizza Marsala location at one time.
There are currently 4 Pizza Marsala locations to serve their communities "Old World Quality" Pizzas, Hoagies, Pastas and more. Eker's best friend, Hamza Pehlivan is the owner of a North Huntingdon location and two Greensburg locations.
When costs of ingredients sky rocketed, the partners decided togther that they would not cut back on quality. Quality was most important to them, so they contuined to order and use only the top quality cheeses and ingredients.
A few customer pizza favorites are the Buffalo Chicken Ranchero, the Marsala Pie and the Tuscan Chicken Pie. The Buffalo Chicken Hoagie is a must try along with the Supreme Italian and the Supreme Steak.
