James E. Bowser, 76, of South Buffalo Township, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, in his residence. Born July 13, 1948, in Natrona Heights, he is the son of the late Harold and Mary Metzler Bowser. James had been employed by Allegheny Ludlum, Brackenridge, as a crane man for 30 years of service. A sergeant with the U.S. Air Force having served for four years. He enjoyed working on model trains and playing his guitar. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Jean A. Farrell Bowser of South Buffalo Township. His daughter, Tamara (Chris) Hill of Brackenridge; a granddaughter, Angela Hill. His brother, Mike Bowser of FL; along with one niece and two nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Bowser. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Greg Weidner officiating.
