The Pittsburgh Penguins will once again participate in the Prospect Challenge hosted by the Buffalo Sabres in September at the LECOM Harborcenter.
This event is a series of scrimmages between prospects from six NHL teams. In addition to the Penguins and Sabres, the Boston Bruins, Columbus Blue Jackets, New Jersey Devils and Ottawa Senators will participate.
A schedule for the event was released on Tuesday. The Penguins’ games are:
Sept. 13 – vs. Bruins, noon
Sept. 14 – vs. Senators, noon
Sept. 16 – vs. Sabres, 5 p.m.
Rosters have yet to be announced. The Penguins have participated in this event for a handful of years.
