Patrick 'Butch' F. Gallagher, 75, of Crabtree, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, in the Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born Nov. 20, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Patrick F. and Grace M. Pantalone Gallagher. Butch was employed by Volkswagen until the plant's closure and later retired as a foreman from USX Steel Clairton Works. Prior to his illness, Butch had a passion for gardening, spending countless hours cultivating his plants alongside his brother. He cherished the time spent hunting with his sons and friends, creating memories that will be forever treasured. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia 'Bunny' Tarry, and his nephew, Brian Tarry. He is survived by his three sons, Brandon Gallagher (Rachel) of New Alexandria, Justin Gallagher (Chantell) of Saxton and Sean Gallagher (Kaila Mendicino) of Greensburg and their mother, Karen Leitza of New Alexandria; grandchildren, Kaden, Nico, Nolan, Kenzie, Jayven, Daylen, Arianna, Oaklen and Zaylen; his brother, Ralph 'Skip' Gallagher of Crabtree; two nephews, Craig, and Michael Tarry; two aunts; one uncle; several cousins and his devoted friends, Chico and Barbara Emili of Greensburg.
