The Wheeling Nailers, ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, have had their final two games of the regular season altered by flooding in Wheeling, W.Va.

Friday’s home contest against the Toledo Walleye which was scheduled at WesBanco Arena has been postponed indefinitely. Meanwhile, a game on Saturday against the Cincinnati Cyclones has been moved from WesBanco Arena to the Penguins’ practice facility, the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry. That contest is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

Per a release from the team, doors open at 7 p.m. and seating will be limited to season ticket holders. Fans who had tickets for Saturday’s game may also receive a refund.

WesBanco Arena is situated along the eastern bank of the Ohio River.

According to the National Weather Service, Wheeling is subject to a flood warning until Monday morning.
