Sudden Little Thrills music festival being held in Pittsburgh
The Sudden Little Thrills music festival announced that they were coming to Pittsburgh this fall.
The new festival, from producers of big-name music events like Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, will be held at Hazelwood Green on Sept. 7 and 8

According to the festival website, the event will feature rock and pop acts performing across two days and three stages.
The artist lineup, ticket sales and festival activities will be announced at a later date.
2024 Irish Festival lineup
The lineup for the 33rd annual Pittsburgh Irish Festival is here.
Out of the 27 performances slated for the three day event, Gaelic Storm, Screaming Orphans, The Drowsy Lads, Reverie Road and Ally the Piper top the list of musical performers announced by festival organizers on Monday.
The 2024 festival will run through the weekend of Sept. 6 at the Carrie Blast Furnaces.
2024 Steel City Duck Derby
Details have been announced for this year’s Steel City Duck Derby at Allegheny Commons Park.
The event is scheduled for April 20 and benefits the Partners for Quality Foundation, a non-profit that supports residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Attendees will get to see 10,000 rubber ducks race down Lake Elizabeth.
Participants and sponsors can choose to adopt four levels of ducks to participate. The Lucky Duck, one duck for five dollars, six quack, six ducks for $25, Quaker’s Dozen, 12 ducks for $50 and the Quack Pack, 24 ducks for $100. The event will start at 11 a.m. with music, face painting, games and interactive exhibits. The race will begin at 1 p.m.
The top five finishers will receive prizes valued at $2,500 and a $500 gift card to North Shore Tavern.
