Eleanor E. Voich, 99, of Rilton, passed away on Aug. 16, 2024, at AHN Hempfield. She was born on March 25, 1925, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late John Ruffner and Anna Weiland Ruffner. Eleanor was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin, and she cherished her role as a homemaker. She always looked forward to traveling, she loved to shop, and she was known for her embroidery and needlepoint creations. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Voich; four brothers, John, Dick, Louie, and Robert; and three sisters, Helen, Annie, and Gracie. She is survived by one son, George Voich; one daughter, Debbie West; two grandchildren, Anna Francis West and Albert Seeke; one brother, Martin Ruffner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon PA. A blessing service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024. Burial will follow in Irwin Union Cemetery.
