Goaltender Joel Blomqvist made 21 saves on 24 shots for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 4-1 road loss to the rival Hershey Bears at the Giant Center in Hershey on Sunday.

The result dropped Blomqvist’s record to 25-11-6 as Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (38-23-8-1) had a seven-game winning streak snapped.

Forward Vinnie Hinostroza scored the lone goal for the Penguins.

The Wheeling Nailers will face the Indy Fuel in a Central Division semifinal series of the ECHL’s Kelly Cup playoffs. On Sunday, the schedule for that series was released.

Additionally, the Nailers’ regular season home game against the Toledo Walleye originally scheduled for Friday has been formally canceled. Due to flooding in Wheeling, W.Va., the contest was initially postponed indefinitely.
