In 1945 John Likar Sr. founded Likar Roofing. He gained his roofing knowledge while working for Westinghouse in the maintenance department. His job was to take care of all the row houses in Wilmerding. As the surrounding area began to grow John recognized the need for quality roofers. With the hard work and dedication of his three sons, John Jr., Vince and Jerry the company became an important part of the community. As the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations actively work the business, Quality and Pride continues to be the key, for the success, of Likar Roofing.
