He and Officers from the K-9 Unit visited Penn Hills Elementary School, where the children got to see the highly trained dogs up close. Chief Bonace said, "It means everything. These moments are where real trust starts. When we walk into an elementary school, we're not there as enforcers, we're there as human beings, as neighbors, and as people who care deeply about the kids in this community. It's an opportunity for them to see who we really are and for us to invest in them early. That's not just important for today; it shapes how they view us for the rest of their lives."
