Work on the 6th Street wall focuses on repairing and stabilizing an aging structure that supports the roadway. While it may not be the most noticeable project day to day, it plays a key role in keeping the street safe and preventing larger issues in the future. Construction will be underway for new pickleball and multi-use courts at Ben Killian Field. With pickleball continuing to grow in popularity, the new courts will provide dedicated space for players of all ages while helping protect other park amenities. The multi-use court is designed to support a variety of activities, including basketball, youth sports, and general open play. The project is part of the Borough's ongoing effort to invest in recreation and keep community spaces active and welcoming. While winter can feel quieter on the surface, it's often one of the busiest seasons for planning. Borough staff are coordinating designs, bids, and schedules now to ensure these projects are ready to move forward as soon as construction season begins. Residents are encouraged to follow Borough updates for timelines and construction information. Together, these projects reflect Aspinwall's continued focus on maintaining strong infrastructure while investing in spaces that bring the community together.
